In 2016 a man armed with an assault-style rifle attacked the
Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL, resulting in the worst mass
shooting in modern U.S. history. Dr. Hunter will discuss the
medical response from the initial moments of the attack to
the days that followed. Comparing our experience to available
evidence will improve understanding of the approach to an
active shooter and mass fatality event, as well as the difficult
process of coordinating efforts that don't just end when the
shooting does.
